Jendco Safety SupplyTM is excited to announce it will now be a distributor of National Safety Apparel, an American company specializing in the manufacturing of Heat and Thermal Protective Apparel. National Safety Apparel manufactures an array of protective equipment including Arc Flash Protection, Flash Fire Protection, High-Visibility Wear, Flame Resistant Rainwear, Cut and Glass Protection, and FR Clothing. The specialists at National Safety Apparel are also capable of customizing and adapting products to meet every possible hazard and safety need.
The featured products of the month are the Black Ice FR™ & Silver Lining FR™ protective base layers. These innovative, lightweight, and breathable base layers come in both two crewnecks, as well as long underwear and are promised not to melt, drip, or ignite.
The Silver Lining FR features an Arc Rating of 12 cal/cm², while the Black Ice FR boasts 15 cal/cm2. Other testing results include:
- ASTM F2700
- Passed ASTM F955 Molten Metal Performance when worn under aluminized clothing
- Meets ASTM F1506-10a
- Complies with OSHA 1910.269
- NFPA 70E-2015 Compliant for Arc Flash
- CSA Z462-15 Compliant for Arc Flash (Canada)
