Traditional SRLs rely upon a frictionbased braking mechanism to absorb energy in the event of a fall. Device maintenance is performed in service centers due to complexity and tooling required for recertification.
- Latchways Constant Force technology energy-absorbing mechanism is completely different and avoids costly requirements of factory servicing, even in the event of a fall.
- Frictionless energy absorbtion has no moving parts, can’t go out of adjustment and isn’t affected by contaminants or temperature.
- Modular design means that individual components can be removed and replaced in minutes onsite with simple tooling.
