MSA Altair 4XR Product Questions

Yes, your purchase includes the 4-year manufacturer warranty. The device warranty is 48 months from date of received shipment. All sensor types except EX-H are under warranty 48 months from date of received shipment. EX-H (Heavy Hydrocarbon) sensors are under warranty 12 months from date of received shipment.

The device ships with a charge, but it's recommended by the manufacturer that you fully charge it prior to use.

Per the manufacturer operating manual, "Under normal circumstances MSA recommends calibration at least every six months, however, many European countries have their own guidelines. Please check your national legislation."
