Pulse-Bac® vacuum equipment comes equipped with patent pending Hepa rated H-13 P.T.F.E. coated Spun Bond Polyester twist on filters. Filters are made from 100% non-woven polyester, 10x more durable than paper or sock filters and able to capture dust particles as small as .012 micron. Filters have a high burst strength and are resistant to abrasive water, heat and other chemicals. When using a filter pulsing system filters made from a SBP media with P.T.F.E coating are the best material to use. The SBP surface does not permit particles to become embedded in the material as in the case of felt, paper or sock filters. Since the media is produced from a continuous fiber it is not prone to fiber migration or linting. SBP filters are much more rugged than paper filters and allow pulse cleaning of the spun bond media to be more effective. CDCLarue Hepa Certified filters are capable of capturing particles as small as .012 microns and exceed EPA, OSHA & NIOSH regulations when using a Hepa Certified Filter.
