Air scrubbing and negative-air containment

An air scrubber can filter and recirculate room air. Negative-air containment uses filtered exhaust routed out of the contained area to help maintain inward airflow. Confirm that the selected machine, duct connection and project setup support the intended use; a machine's rated CFM alone does not verify containment pressure.

Use our air change calculator to estimate airflow from room volume and your specified air-change target. Allow for the actual setup, including duct runs and filter loading, and verify performance on site. Compare electrical requirements, replacement filter sizes and transport access before choosing equipment. For smaller enclosed work areas, also review mobile containment carts and cubes.
