Xtirpa™ Manhole Guard Complete Confined Space Entry System

MSA XTIRPA Manhole Guard Complete Confined Space Entry System allow for safe vertical entry for personnel and material into manholes. The systems are lightweight, modular, portable and easy to setup allowing for users to save time throughout the workday.

  • Manhole guard systems are used when an exposed entry point needs to be guarded.
  • This portable system has an integrated mast which is used in conjunction with a davit arm to provide fall protection, entry and retrieval capabilities.
  • The manhole guard system facilitates access to underground chambers or any other type of confi ned spaces where an entry point should be protected.
  • Davit arm is equipped with 5000 lb. (2268 kg) anchor point

 A. XTIRPA™ 24" DAVIT ARM IN-2210 [Included]

24 inch davit arm with secondary block adapter for fall protection & retrieval facilitates access to confined spaces. Use with 24 inch mast IN-2003 and appropriate Xtirpa™ bases/systems or manhole guards IN-2108 or IN-2324. Equipped with 5,000 lb. anchor point.

 B. MSA Workman 50' Rescuer & Adapter Bracket - 10158178 & IN-2404 [Included]

Fast, Easy and Intuitive fall protection with an integral bi-directional retrival capability.

XTIRPA™ Standard Manhole Guards - IN-2108

Portable manhole guard with integrated mast which is used in conjunction with a 24 inch davit arm for fall protection & retrieval.
It is 42 inches H x 38 inches W x 38 inches D. Comes with adjustable feet for simple leveling of system.

XTIRPA™ Large Manhole Guards - IN-2324 [Optional +$377]

Large portable manhole guard with integrated mast which is used in conjunction with the 24 inch davit arm for fall protection & retrieval.
It is 42 inches H x 52 inches W x 52 inches D. Comes with adjustable feet for simple leveling.

 D. XTIRPA™ Stabalizers [Choose Options]

XTIRPA™ Stabalizer - A2108-18

Stabilizer for IN-2108 or IN-2324 portable manhole guards. For use with self-retracting lanyards over 50 ft. for increased stability of system.
May be used with other winching mechanisms; either material-handling winch or man-handling winch.

XTIRPA™ Stabalizer with Wheels - A2108-20 [Optional]

Stabilizer for IN-2108 or IN-2324 portable manhole guards with wheels. For use with self-retracting lanyards over 50 ft. for increased stability of system. 
Wheels allow for ease of movement without dismantling system.

 E. MSA Workman Personnel & Materials Winch & Adapter Bracket - P/N 10147301 & IN-2404 [Optional] +$1,620.40

Maximum work load of 400 lbs for personnel, 620 lbs for materials.
