What's one thing you love about your job: Things that I like about my job? The answer to this question has evolved over the years. I used to thrive on the challenge, the excitement of the sale or ruminates about the deal that fell through. Today I marvel at the organization that Jendco has become. The growth of the company, the genuine spirit of cooperation and shared goals among our employees. I love seeing Jenny and David, my children every day and knowing that they are the present and the future of Jendco Safety.
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know: I was the first woman pizza delivery driver during my OU days in Athens, Ohio. I delivered for Little Caesar’s Pizza.

Jenny Jarvis
Vice President
Jenny Jarvis started with Jendco in 2004. She began temporarily working in the warehouse after college and soon found out that she was a great fit at the family business. Within a few months Jenny began to take a more active role in both sales and administration. During this time Jenny honed her skills as a salesperson – while working with some of Jendco’s oldest clients. Being a second-generation visionary, Jenny quickly mirrored the valiant efforts of her mother – Beth Jarvis – Jendco’s founder. Currently Jenny participates in local peer groups and committees through the Columbus Builders Exchange, and The Conway business Center. She also participates in a peer group with other EOS Visionaries located throughout the Midwest. She is an active participant in the company's EOS initiatives.
How long have you worked at Jendco: Since July 2002
What's one thing you love about your job: All the people I get to work with on a daily basis, from our growing team to our amazing client base. I absolutely LOVE going on client visits and getting to see how they all use the products they purchase from us. Jendco has really evolved as a company over the last several years and I’m excited to see what the future will bring.
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know: I LOVE retro, antique barn finds. So much so that I created a hobby around it. Since 2013 I have rented a space in an antique mall to resell the hidden treasures I acquired from demolition job sites, old factories, or auctions.

David Jarvis
Chief Operations Officer
David Jarvis has been with Jendco since late 2010 with an ever-changing role. Currently as the Chief Operations Officer at Jendco Safety. He's the second generation of a family-owned business that his mother, Beth Jarvis, initially started out of her garage to cater to local and regional markets. David is responsible for bringing Jendco into the 21st century by creating their website, leading the ecommerce and marketing efforts as well as running operations. Due to these initiatives the company has had to strategize and adapt its business model to help support the growth. The ecommerce presence has enabled us to have the opportunity to supply critical safety products not just across the country - but across the Globe.

What's one thing you love about your job: I love seeing our company grow through new initiatives, new customers, exciting new industries and bringing on new team members. We have really evolved as a company over the last several years and looking forward for what the future will bring.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working: I enjoy cooking and spending time with family, and traveling. I also enjoy basically anything with a motor. I really enjoy cars, dual sport rides, boating.

What's one thing you love about your job: It’s very rewarding to come to work every day and be part of growing something special. Our office is filled with competitive enthusiasm focused on growing our company and individual skillsets. I’m very grateful to be part of that!
What do you like to do when you aren’t working: Most of my down time is spent with my family (wife, two daughters and two dogs) and doing my best to enjoy every moment of their development as they navigate thru life.

What's one thing you love about your job: Everyday is different, and allows space for problem solving. Growth - being a part of keeping a growing city safe!
How do you spend time away from work: Cooking for friends and family is one of my passions. My husband and I play volleyball both recreationally and competitively, and recently picked up learning to play Pickleball. Anything sports related and with friends is always our go-to.

What's one thing you love about your job: Love the people I work with, and the office dogs!! I love having furry co-workers!! Also love talking to people from all over the world on a daily basis!
How do you spend time away from work: When I am not working I am usually hanging out with my 4 kids. They keep me busy! I am excited for the nicer weather here in Ohio because my family and I LOVE the outdoors. We do a lot of hiking, creeking, and playing games together.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working: I have a hobby of making jewelry. I love natural stones and sterling silver. It may be more of an addiction than a hobby!

What's one thing you love about your job: National/International Reach – Exciting to talk to all types of people from every corner of the globe!
What do you like to do when you aren’t working: Work with my hands on something – woodworking, digging, building something (Good I work for a safety company, haven’t lost an eye yet!).
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know: I was an Ohio State University Cheerleader from 2005 to 2007 along with my Brother who was Brutus from 2001 to 2005.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working: Catching up on shows with my wife while simultaneously gaming (I never could just sit and watch TV), cooking, tinkering, camping with my son and his Boy Scout Troop.
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know: Until 5th grade my right thumb was double jointed. While skating I fell onto my hand and partially dislocated my thumb, it’s been "single" jointed ever since.

What's one thing you love about your job: Being part of the Jendco family as long as I have, I really love seeing the continued growth of the company. To know where we were 20 years ago and where we are today and where we are headed is amazing to witness.
What do you like to do when you aren't working: I enjoy spending time with family and friends and having get togethers. That could be OSU Football parties/tailgating, camping for a weekend or even just a relaxing pool day.
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know: I never really liked golf but I finally gave in to some of my friends and tried playing golf just a few years ago and it turns out I really enjoy it. I’m not very good at it but I like to play when I can.
