This NIOSH-approved particulate filter helps provide high efficiency respiratory protection in environments containing particulates. Used with 3M GVP Belt-Mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator Systems.


NIOSH-approved high efficiency particulate filter used for GVP systems from 3M for respiratory protection against particulates.

Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) are motorized systems powered by a battery pack which draw air through a filter or cartridge to provide respiratory protection to the wearer. The blower unit can be mounted on the waist, face, or head, depending on the system selected. Potential benefits include:

  • Certain PAPR systems provide a higher level of respiratory protection than non-powered air filtering respirators.
  • Constant flow of air can provide cooling for the worker, resulting in greater comfort for the wearer
  • Loose-fitting headgear options provide respiratory protection without the need for a tight faceseal or fit testing

A lot of the products lack descriptions. This led to me needing to go to other sites and shops to get the information you failed to provide. If it wasn't for the fact that you have most of the accessories and items I'm looking for, I would've bought them elsewhere. Also, during checkout you don't provide an estimated shipping or arrival date. Depending on the delivery timeframe I''m given, I may just cancel my order altogether and deal with buying everything somewhere else. Especially with the amount you charge for shipping.
