This innovative new product provides a new option for customers seeking an intrinsically safe respiratory solution. 

The TR-800 is a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) blower certified by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) with an intrinsically safe (IS) rating under the most current standard. With high levels of respiratory and intrinsic safety protection combined with the demonstrated simplicity, versatility and comfort of the 3M™ Versaflo™ family of products, your choice in intrinsically safe PAPRs has never been easier.

Top of the line IS protection

This means that features like mechanical attachment of batteries to prevent removal during use and patent pending materials meant to meet new static dissipative materials requirements in the new standard are built right into the TR-800 by design. The 3M TR-800 Versaflo will be launched globally, which gives multi-national customers the option to standardize on one product platform with both NIOSH and CE versions available.
